Project Summary
The Project Stabilization Agreement for the 3.2-mile $484 million Oakland Airport Connector set goals for local hire and apprenticeship utilization. The agreement called for 50 percent of project hours to be worked by local residents (i.e., residents from Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, and San Mateo counties). The agreement also called for 25 percent of hours to be worked by residents from Oakland.
